Travelers suspend their usual life patterns for the sake of valuable time usage. Unwilling to be limited by their tastes in food, art, or usual entertainment, they experiment. For the whole meaning of travel is to escape the boundaries of everyday life.<\/p>

In 2023, the number of visitors increased by 11.5% compared to the previous year. This rise pushed tourism revenue to an all-time high of approximately 21 billion euros. In 2024, tourist arrivals increased by 16% and revenue growth reached 27.1% (Ministry of Tourism data, first quarter).<\/p>

Tourism, one of the largest industries in the world, is valued for its economic benefits. In countries like Greece, it inevitably becomes a means of mutual\u2014though not balanced\u2014cultural exchange: travelers seek the experience of the different and simultaneously bring about profound cultural change to the places they visit.<\/p>\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The challenge of evoking clear, tangible emotions can emerge from the essence of architectural beauty, through the careful arrangement of materials and the atmosphere of sound\u2014as Peter Zumthor supports.
